SETS AND COSTUMES
The set is a multilayered schoolyard, with an upstage fan labeled "Priti-Nu."
Costumes begin as brightly colored kimonos (or dyed martial arts robes) over white pants, except for Kattiscla (in goth) and MaKiddo (initially in a dark cloak, later in a tye-die). At the start of Act Two, the girls wear soccer uniforms, the men referee uniforms with flags. Near the end, the cast dresses in edgy clothing, and then wears regular school clothing.
Props include (1) a Scan-a-Tron, which should blink green for correct answers, red for wrong answers, and emit steam after the VIPs fail the bubble test; (2) a ridiculously difficult multiple-choice test (in large type, readable in a darkened theater); (3) evil college masks, smiley-face masks, golden arch masks; (4) various hand-held items, including cellphones, pagers, palm pilots, a zap cola can, security wand, soccer ball, rope.
All eleven principal performers should be individually miked. Sound and light effects include (1) school loudspeaker (an offstage voice); (2) school chimes, bell, and siren; (3) helicopter; (4) various spots and specials.
